FlamingoscopeA poster I did for an art exhibition at No Vacancy Gallery in Melbourne for SixYearsLater Magazine. The theme for the exhibition was open so I decided to make something that represented all of the things that I love, jewels, flamingos, toucans, colour & collage. The inspiration for the piece also evolved from a recent trip to Mexico and the Yucatan Peninsula where there is a lot of tropical and natural beauty & colour. After making this print, I worked on a collaboration with Queen Khan, an incredible Fashion Designer who transformed this print into a beautiful repeat pattern on silk!
