Some Branding for James Fava, founder of Melbourne’s infamous Love That Music (2006), co-owner of Mynt Lounge (Werribee) and also an international microphone-hijacker & all round dude. James needed an identity to accompany his big personality, flourishing DJ career and for all his entrepreneurial endeavors.

An identity for an amazing up and coming fashion designer and fellow creative Queen Khan who is doing some incredible and very fashion forward work. The inspiration for the identity has been taken from Queen Khans style, personality and her personal family crest, which actually features a Unicorn! Watch this space.

Flamingoscope

A poster I did for an art exhibition at No Vacancy Gallery in Melbourne for SixYearsLater Magazine. The theme for the exhibition was open so I decided to make something that represented all of the things that I love, jewels, flamingos, toucans, colour & collage. The inspiration for the piece also evolved from a recent trip to Mexico and the Yucatan Peninsula where there is a lot of tropical and natural beauty & colour.

After making this print, I worked on a collaboration with Queen Khan, an incredible Fashion Designer who transformed this print into a beautiful repeat pattern on silk! Whilst studying on exchange in Denmark in 2010 we were given the task of producing an identity for a hypothetical supermarket to rival competitors such as Irma and Netto, some very powerful and popular grocery stores in Copenhagen, Denmark. The project was quite open but it had to solve a problem which I had found living in Copenhagen as a foreigner. The lack of grocery stores which sell local produce, fresh food and have a butcher and deli within it was the problem which I designed for. Following this research was to design some eye catching collateral for the store.

Pow is the alternative/punk night at Mynt Lounge night club. The crowd is rowdy and the vibe is always party, this campaign direction for Pow has been really successful so the artwork has grown and been refreshed with the seasons and time that have past.

Boombox

Boombox is a night club event held at Mynt Lounge in Melbourne. The night is catered for the weekend party goers aged between 18 and 25. It’s a really popular place for the locals to get loose on a saturday night and the night is all about party time. The look of the night regularly gets refreshed to keep up to date with the ever changing and growing night club scene in Melbourne.
